Their are several positions for administering or receiving enemas. (Enema Positions) Peppermint Oil Enema Recipe: 1 tsp. of peppermint oil 2 qts. of warm filtered water. Mix Well Temperature 103° Fahrenheit Directions for Administering an Enema In your first enema, fill your bag with 1-3 quarts of warm water. Add 1/4 tsp. of Peppermint essential oil to each quart of water. The Peppermint essential oil promotes mild peristalsis in the colon and is used in water to clean out the colon. Peppermint is a much healthier alternative than soap. Use this one to two times in a row. (A special note: I would recommend in your second or third enema that you use Optimal Health Network Coffee for Enemas for additional therapeutic benefit. Use 1 tablespoon to one cup of brewed coffee in 1 quart of water. Try to hold for 15 minutes. Take entire 1qt. in the enema bag into your colon. Some people can hold this 30 to 45 minutes. If you're having trouble holding the solution try using a rectal retention plug. Next move to the toilet to expel your enema. When expelling the enema: The best position for expelling your enema is squatting over the
toilet. The squatting position puts pressure on your abdomen from your thighs. It is best if you place a Welles
Step and then squat down over the toilet to release your enema |
