Left Side Enema Position or known as the (Sims Position)
This is the most commonly used position for giving or receiving an enema.  However a better position for administering an enema deeper into the colon is the knee chest position.

In this position the recipient lies on their left side drawing the right knee toward their chest this allows easy access to the
anus it also allows the enema solution to flow easily into the sigmoid colon and the descending colon.
