Many people find that they can relieve a fecal impaction with an enema.

A fecal impaction is where feces that has had almost all of the moisture removed from it becomes hardened in the rectum and sigmoid colon making it difficult or impossible to have a bowel movement.
The easiest way too relieve fecal impaction is to inject a small amount of oil as a (retention enema) or (implant enema).
By injecting 8 to16oz. of oil ( olive oil, vegetable oil, mineral oil ) into the rectum and holding this solution for 30 to 60 minutes, it should give enough time to help soften the feces enough to produce a bowel movement the oil also lubricates the rectum and anus for an easier expulsion.
The best way to inject oil into the rectum is with a Bulb Syringe or a Clear Enema Bag

Then take an old-fashioned soap suds enema and hold it for 5 to 10 minutes this will allow time for the water and soap to soften the remaining feces so it can be expelled. This enema will clean further into the colon.
This second soap suds enema should produce the results that you require.
You might want to repeat with a larger volume soap suds enema again to insure the best results.

After finishing with the soaps suds enemas you really need to rinse any remaining soap residue out of your colon with a warm water enema series otherwise it will irritate the intestinal lining for some time.

Their are a couple of enemas recipes (list of enema recipes)  that can also be used to help accomplish this purpose.
