Garlic-Epsom Salt Enema

Enema Recipe:

3 cloves of chopped garlic in 2 quarts of filtered water
Simmer on stove for 10 minutes
Add 1 Tbl. Epsom salt  (mix well)

Cool to 103 Fahrenheit, pour into enema bag
Add extra warm  water filtered to finish filling bag and correct temperature


Precautions:
Very purging
    Do not use magnesium sulfate (Epsom Salt)as a laxative if you have stomach (abdominal) pain, nausea, or vomiting, unless directed by a doctor. If you notice a sudden change in bowel habits that persists over a period of 2 weeks.
   Stop taking magnesium sulfate and seek emergency medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives)   Other side effects than those listed here could also occur.

CAUTION :
Epsom salts can have some dangerous side effects!


Directions for Administering an Enema

Massage:
When receiving the enema:
Massage abdomen in a counter-clockwise direction this will help move the solution higher into the colon.

Massaging the abdomen during the administration of an enema will help the recipient except more of the enema solution.

 

When expelling the enema:
Massage abdomen in a clockwise direction this will help move the solution back toward the rectum and anus.

Massaging the abdomen while expelling the enema helps move the solution and feces toward the rectum and out the anus.
