Many people find that they can relieve a fecal impaction with an enema.
Their are a couple of enemas recipes (list of enema recipes)  that can be used to accomplish this purpose.
A  fecal impaction is feces that has had most of the moisture removed from it, causing it to become hard in the rectum.
The best way too relieve fecal impaction is to inject a small retention enema of oil.
By injecting 4 to 8 oz. of oil ( olive oil, vegetable oil, mineral oil ) into the rectum and holding this solution for 30 to 60 minutes, this should give enough time to soften the feces enough to produce a bowel movement.

Then   you need to take a good old-fashioned soap suds enema and hold it for several minutes.
This second enema should produce the results that you require.
You might want to repeat the soap suds enema again to achieve a good results. After finishing with the soaps suds enemas you should then rinse the soap suds out with a warm water enema series.

Massage the Abdomen:
When receiving the enema:
Massage abdomen in a counter-clockwise direction this will help move the solution higher into the colon.

Massaging the abdomen during the administration of an enema will help the recipient except more of the enema solution.

When expelling the enema:
Massage abdomen in a clockwise direction this will help move the solution back toward the rectum and anus.

Massaging the abdomen while expelling the enema helps move the solution and feces toward the rectum and out the anus.
