Why would you use an enema when you have diarrhea.

It is the fastest and easiest way to remove the bad bacteria from the large intestine that causes diarrhea.  Generally, when you have diarrhea, the intestinal lining becomes irritated and inflamed.
A simple warm water enema can be very soothing and relaxing to the intestinal lining when experiencing diarrhea.
A Acidophilus or Bifidonate retention enema can help replace the beneficial bacteria that needs to be in the colon.
