A soapy enema is very irritating to the colon !
Soap is the most often used enema additive.
The only soap you want to use if you're going to use in your enema solution is a mild Castile soap.

Never use any kind of dishwashing liquid or laundry detergent for your enema soap as they contain chemicals that can damage the delicate intestinal lining or deodorant hand soaps.

If you have your mind set on using soap in an enema then Conti Castile soap is a good choice, or Kirks Castile soap
Conti Castile soap is made from olive oil  where as Kirk's Castile soap is made from coconut oil. Either one works well
in an enema solution. These bar soaps, also work well for skin cleansing.
There are several liquid Castile soap available on the market . One brand is Dr. Bonners and it comes with several types of herbal additives.

Soap Enema Recipe:

2 qts. of warm filtered water.
Dissolve approximately 1/10 of a bar of soap in the 2 qts. of water.
or 5 to 10 mL of liquid Castile soap to 1000 cc of water 1000 cc of water equals approximately a little over 1 qt.

A Temperature of 103° Fahrenheit is best for a soap suds enema.

Directions:

Add solution to enema bag mixing with warm filtered water to achieve desired amount. Approximately 2000 ml is a good amount for your 1st enema.
Suspend enema bag approximately18 in. above the  rectum. A good tool for this is the  IV Stand for Enemas
If you need better flow control of the enema solution.  The ramp clamp is what you are looking for. The  Knee-chest position with chest against floor and rectum higher than head this is the best position to receive this enema.
Insert nozzle/rectal tube tip into anus, using a lubricant (Super Salve Surgilube  Vaseline 13oz.)as needed. Anal lubrication is very important.

Inject solution into rectum and colon slowly, this help your body to take the solution more comfortably.Try to take as much as possible , refill bag if needed or until it becomes uncomfortable to take any more solution.
Massage abdomen in counter-clockwise direction this will help the solution higher into the colon and break loose any encrusted material.

When bag is empty or no more fluid can be injected remove nozzle/rectal tube. If you have trouble retaining the nozzle you might want to try a retention nozzle if you are having trouble retaining the solution or both.
Some people prefer to use a retention plug after they received their enema solution and removed the nozzle/rectal tube. You can also use a folded wash cloth tightly against the anus. While retaining the solution you should change positions to help move the solution through out the colon.
Lie in each position for a few minutes, while massaging abdomen Enema Positions

Now you can move to the toilet and release the enema.

When expelling the enema:
You can massage the abdomen in a clockwise direction this will help move the solution back toward the rectum and anus.

Massaging the abdomen while expelling the enema helps move the enema solution and  gas and feces toward the rectum and out the anus.

The best position for expelling your enema is squatting over the toilet not sitting on it. The squatting position puts pressure on your abdomen from your thighs.

In many countries, toilets are made so that people squat when they move their bowels. The Welles Step positions your body so that you are squatting when you sit on the toilet. Squatting,  supports the abdominal wall and the bowel as we bear down, brings about an easier bowel evacuation in this way.
People who use the Welles Step tend to have fewer hemorrhoids, hernias,  anal fissures, varicose veins and use less laxatives.

It fits under the toilet when not in use.

It is best if you place a  Welles Step  and then squat down over the toilet to release your enema.

Remember you should take a warm water rinse enema or two after a soapy enema to remove the soap solution from the intestinal walls. Otherwise this can keep irritating the intestine lining for sometime.
Ypu can repeat as needed.

Remember to Thoroughly Wash Your Equipment after Use
