Never inject anything into your colon hotter than 115º Fahrenheit.
| This M&M enema was the favorite of many an old-time nurse who thought
that the major cramping that it produced was the only way to get a good cleanout. Milk and
molasses in enemas produce large amounts of gas in the large intestine which can causes
severe cramping. One of the most cramp producing enema solutions ever used. Remember that 103º Fahrenheit is a good temperature (that is about 39.5º Celsius). One of the most powerful enemas that I have experienced is the "milk and molasses" enema ("M&M," for short). Use equal amounts of milk and the "blackstrap" variety of molasses (it is a strong-flavored type often used in baking). You won't need a large volume; a pint (16oz.) of each will be sufficient. Heat the milk in a saucepan, then slowly add the molasses stirring as you do so, remove from heat, and mix thoroughly. The molasses being added will reduce the temperature somewhat ,but cool the mixture to103º Fahrenheit, then it will be ready to administer. For a powerful enema, this one is worth the little extra effort. Your bowels will react almost immediately and it will be extremely difficult to hold for long. You might want to use a retention device to help retain this enema solution. Heavy cramping
Directions: Add solution to enema bag
mixing with warm filtered
water to achieve desired amount. Wash and sanitize Enema Equipment after use When expelling the enema: The best position for expelling your enema is squatting over the toilet not sitting on
it. The squatting position puts pressure on your abdomen from your thighs. It is best if you place a Welles Step and then squat down over the toilet to release your enema. One of the most powerful enemas that I have experienced is the
"milk and molasses" enema ("M&M,"). Use equal amounts of milk and
the "blackstrap" variety of molasses (it is a strong-flavored type often used in

in a saucepan and bring to a boil, then add the molasses, remove from heat, and stir
thoroughly. The molasses being added will reduce the temperature somewhat and when the
mixture cools to about 102?, it is ready to administer. Effects: Caution: As with any enema in which a food products are used they tend to produce a tremendous amount of gas in the intestinal tract. The longer this solution is left in the colon more gas is produced. Remember to Thoroughly Wash Your Equipment after Use
