| Castile Soap can be used to enhance the cleansing of the colon. The soapy solution causes an irritation to the intestinal lining thereby causing stronger reactive contractions in the colon. After using a soap solution, you should always follow up with a couple of simple water enemas to remove the soap residue adhering to the colon walls and prevent further irritation. You can purchase Castile soap in 0.3 oz. (9ml) packets. This packet combined with 2 quarts (1.7 liters) of water to make a decent enema solution. Bottles of Castile soap solution, many of which have herbal additives are available in most health food stores. Lavender Castile Soap Peppermint Castile Soap !! Never use dishwashing liquids or detergents for your enemas they can harm the delicate intestinal lining!! Remember to keep the enema temperature at about (103° Fahrenheit (about 39 degree Celsius) give or take 1 or 2 degrees Fahrenheit (1 degree Celsius). Then add this
mixture to your enema bag, make sure that the solution has not cooled below 102°
Fahrenheit. These soapy enemas are definitely harder to take and hold than a plain warm water

it. The squatting position puts pressure on your abdomen from your thighs. It is best if you place a Welles Step and then squat down over the toilet to release your enema.
