Combining aromatherapy with an Enema Regimen

STATE OF MIND, IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS STATE OF BODY FOR A COMPLETELY BALANCED SYSTEM.
Taking an enema doesn't have to be salts, soaps and coffee's.  It can be as relaxing and healing to the inner body as a trip to a spa.

Aromatherapy is a natural way to help with health problems and essential oils are an important part of aromatherapy.
When the essential oils are used in enemas, they become a powerful tool in healing the colon.

When considering aromatherapy and enemas, strive to make the experience as 'spiritual' in nature as possible.   Balance and harmony between mind and body will make for a relaxing and purifying treatment.  Light candles or burn incense, allow for plenty of time and concentrate on clearing the mind.

Essential oils are often used in enemas because of their antibacterial, antiviral and anti fungal properties.
These oils are able to provide excellent results in cleaning the human body fecal material, toxins and poisons to help in the healing process.

However, every oil is not suitable for every ailment and not every oil fits every persons need. So, whenever you use these oils, start with a very small amount and consult with your health care practitioner before beginning an aromatherapy and enema regimen.
Here are some popular oils recommended for colon health and conditioning.
Lavender essential oil for enema use.

Lavender oil is considered the safest oil of all essential oils and is commonly used for several problems. This oil works well after taking enemas because of its wonderful healing properties. It works great for hemorrhoids, anal fissures, nausea and chronic headaches. This oil also helps fight stress and builds confidence about taking enemas. Take several drops of lavender oil and gently rub on your abdomen, it will not only help you relax but also help relieve the anxiety associated with taking an enema.
you can also add 6 to 10 drops in your enema water for a relaxing enema.

Peppermint essential oil for enema use.

This essential oil has many healing properties and works great with colon cleansing. Scientists have also provided facts about its effectiveness. It is often recommended that with your first enema, peppermint oil instead of Castile soap may be used.

Add this essential oil mixture to the water during a colon cleansing routine. This mixture provides a smooth session and heals the colon area.

Fennel, GingerLemon, Rosemary, Tarragon essential oils for enema use.

These oils used together give an excellent healing effect to the colon area. However, these essential oils have many specific qualities but show the best result when used together. Mix 4 to 5 drops of each of the oils with warm filtered water and then implant into the colon with an enema.
All of these oils are very effective in clearing up toxins and destroying unhealthy bacteria, yeast and parasites in the colon.

Although, you can use these oils individually (4-6 drops) per quart of warm filtered water, but they do have a better effect when mixed together and used as an enema.

Myrtle and Myrrh essential oils for enema use.

These essential oils work well with enemas. In 2 quarts of warm filtered water, mix a teaspoon of sea salt and add 4 to 8 drops each of myrtle and/or myrrh essential oil. With this enema mixture, one can take the enema  two or three times in succession, but it depends on the person , if you feel one or two enemas has completed the job, stop.

Myrtle helps relieve and prevent inflammation in the colon and Myrrh is beneficial to the liver and lymph system.

Directions:

Add solution to enema bag, mixing with warm filtered water to achieve 2 qts. or the amount you require.
Hang enema bag about 18 in. to 3 ft. above rectum. A good tool for this is the IV Stand for Enemas
If you need better flow control of the enema solution.  The  ramp clamp is what you are looking for.
Knee-chest position with chest against floor and rectum higher than head this is a best position to receive an enema.
Insert nozzle/colon tube tip into anus, using lubricant (Sliquid Organics H20 enema lube  Astroglide  Vaseline 13oz.   KY Jelly) as needed.
Inject solution into rectum slowly, and take as much as possible , refill bag as needed or until it becomes uncomfortable to take any more solution.
Massage abdomen in counter-clockwise direction this will help the solution higher into the colon.
When bag is empty or no more fluid can be taken remove nozzle/rectal tube, if you have trouble retaining the solution you might want to try a retention nozzle. Although some people prefer to use a retention plug after they received their enema solution and removed the nozzle.
Lie on each side for 5 to 10 minutes, while massaging abdomen.
Now you can move to the toilet and release the enema.

When expelling the enema:
Massage abdomen in a clockwise direction this will help move the solution back toward the rectum and anus.

Massaging the abdomen while expelling the enema helps move the solution and feces toward the rectum and out the anus.
